LIFE Information Day, Tuesday (AM) 15th March, Custom House, Dublin

The LIFE Programme is the EU's financial instrument supporting environmental and climate action projects throughout the EU. It contributes to sustainable development and to the achievement of the objectives and targets of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the 7th Union Environmental Action Programme and other relevant EU environment and climate strategies and plans.

This year’s LIFE Information Day is aimed as always at informing potential applicants about the LIFE programme and will take place on the morning of Tuesday 15th March 2016 in the Custom House in Dublin.

The main focus on the day will include providing potential applicants with the opportunity to meet with successful Irish projects who will be on hand to talk individually to anyone wishing to learn more about a particular project, including  planning and writing the application and managing the implementation programme. Presentations will also be made on practical issues such as tips on preparing and writing a LIFE application and also avoiding common pitfalls that arise with projects during implementation.

Anybody who is interested in registering should do so by mail at LIFE@environ.ie as soon as possible. Further details will issue following registration.
