The EMPOWER Regional Action Plan for the Southern Regional Assembly was validated by the Interreg Europe Joint Secretariat in December 2019.  Inspired by the learnings from the EMPOWER Interregional Partners one of the actions we plan to implement is to install energy monitoring equipment into social housing units in Cork City with the assistance of Cork City Council to calculate the energy usage in these social housing units before and after a deep retrofit in order to identify the deep retrofit features that have created the most benefits to reducing energy consumption and energy costs.
