The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications invites you to register your interest in attending the LIFE National Information Day on Wednesday 31 May 2023 from 9.00 to 13.30. The Information Day will be held as a virtual event.

The event will feature presentations from the National Contact Point and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), as well as successful LIFE projects and associations. There will also be Q&A sessions, and attendees will be able to raise questions on Slido before and during the event.

The LIFE Programme is the EU’s funding instrument for Environment and Climate Action, and is structured into four sub-programmes:  

• Nature and Biodiversity
• Circular Economy and Quality of Life
• Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
• Clean Energy Transition

Any legal persons/entities registered in the EU are eligible to apply, and applications are encouraged from public and private organisations seeking co-funding for projects. Large and small companies, Local Authorities, Public Bodies, Higher Education Institutions, NGOs and Community Groups can participate.
