EMPOWER powers ahead!

EMPOWER held its second project management meeting in Lorient on the 6th -7th September 2017. The meeting brought partners together to review progress to date and debate the good practices put forward by each region. Lively discussion and plenty of interaction took place with inquisitive partners.
Preparation for EMPOWER’s next stage commenced with discussion around Study trips to “visit” the Good Practices identified in each region. On day two a technical workshop took place with partners learning more about Innovative Financial Instruments from our German partners; Development Bank of Saxony Anhalt.
Project partners were also treated to technical visits in the afternoon to:
- Lanveur School – a photovoltaic solar installation,
- Kermelo School – energy monitoring systems
- The future biggest French urban solar roof
The next exciting phase of EMPOWER commences with the Good Practice study visits which will take place in each partner’s region over the next few months.
