ETC Project Information Workshop
Southern Regional Assembly hosts a successful ETC Project Information Workshop in Waterford
The Southern Regional Assembly hosted a successful European Territorial Cooperation Project Information Workshop in Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford on Thursday 3rd October. The workshop was attended by 62 delegates from across projects and covered first level control audit requirements and Interreg Europe requirements on the development of a Regional Action Plan. It was a great opportunity for project partners to share information, network and discuss key areas of project delivery.
Michael Buckley and his First Level Control team lead the morning session on first level control audit requirements, public procurement and preparing a claim. There was great interaction and discussion between project partners and staff at the one-to-one meetings. The afternoon session, facilitated by Rose Power and Karen Coughlan, EU Project Officers covered key areas on the Interreg Europe requirements on the development of a Regional Action Plan. There was a valuable group discussion on identifying real learnings, adapting good practice and getting the support of key stakeholders.
A wider ETC Project Officers Network will be established to continue this collaboration, networking and information exchange with Project Officers across the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes.
