Getting Ireland Brexit Ready

Posted into: The Assembly

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s website, Getting Ireland Brexit Ready, was launched to inform Irish businesses and citizens about the approach the Government of Ireland is taking in light of the decision of the United Kingdom to leave the European Union.

Brexit presents unprecedented political, economic and diplomatic challenges for Ireland. How these challenges are handled will be a major factor in shaping the future of our island and our relationship with Britain for years to come.

The website gives updates on the Government’s most recent engagements, outreach events, and ongoing consultation work on Brexit, including information on resources and financial supports available from all Government Departments and Agencies to help businesses to get Brexit ready.
