MATCH-UP Mobility Café – September 2019

The role of modal Interchange to foster low carbon mobility

MATCH-UP focuses on the optimisation of travel hubs – that is the places where people change between low carbon transport modes – Walking/Cycling, Public Transport, Rail Transport and Green Vehicles.  This project aims to improve these interchanges at local level to improve public transport by learning from our Interregional partners

 

The Southern Regional Assembly as a partner in the MATCH-UP project along with our Stakeholders Cork Transport Mobility Forum and Cork City Council wish to invite you to join us at Cork City Library at 13.30 on 20th September 2019 to discuss low carbon modal interchange and  the proposed Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy 2040.

 

Our guest speakers include:

   Sebastiaan Van Der Hijden, Strategic Mobility Advisor, Municipality of Utrecht, The Netherlands to present “Planning for People (& Bikes), Not for Cars”.
