Project Ideas Hatching in North West Europe

Almost 200 participants from 8 countries, including Ireland, attended Interreg North West Europe’s Project Ideas Lab on 2nd October in Paris to plan for Call 8 applications.  The twice-yearly event brings potential project applicants together to meet, plan and develop new project ideas in the themes of innovation, low carbon and resource efficiency. 

 

With Call 8 open until 22nd November and over €184 million ERDF remaining, there are still opportunities for organisations with innovative ideas to apply.  Over 50 people presented their project idea in Paris, seeking partners from all eligible countries to join their application.

 

Half of the 56 projects that Interreg NWE has approved date have Irish participation, seeing €12.4 million in ERDF approved to Irish organisations.  The 56 approved projects are active across all three priorities, 21 in innovation, 24 in low carbon, and 11 in resource and materials efficiency.
