Southern Regional Assembly Consultation Submissions
The Assembly has an important role in aligning City and County Development Plans with regional policy. This ensures that national policy alignment is achieved at local level.
This is achieved through the Assembly’s statutory role in the preparation and implementation of the RSES for the Southern Region.
The Assembly also has an important regional role in supporting aligned local, regional and national policy goals in our submissions to Government Departments and State Agencies in the formation of new policies and initiatives that will benefit our Region and deliver for the RSES.
