Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Public Consultation

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission is inviting submissions to inform the development of its next Strategy Statement 2022-24. The priorities set out in this Strategy Statement will guide their work for the coming three years. It will build on work over the past three years set out in their Strategy Statement 2019-21 and 2019 and 2020 Annual Reports.

What human rights and equality issues should we focus on?

They would like to hear the views of a diversity of people, groups and organisations who are interested in, and/or working to address discrimination, and promote and protect human rights and equality in Ireland. Your contribution will help inform their priorities and the approach we should take over the coming years to promote and protect human rights and equality in Ireland.

Making a Submission

You are invited to make submissions using the template provided in Irish and English. You can email your completed submission to consultation@ihrec.ie

The closing date for submissions is Monday 16 August 2021.
