Projects Hatching at Interreg North-West Europe Project Ideas Lab
Over 300 participants from 8 countries, including Ireland, attended Interreg North West Europe’s Project Ideas Lab on 2 April in Brussels to prepare Call 9 applications. The twice-yearly event brings potential project applicants together to meet, plan and develop new project ideas in the themes of innovation and resource and materials efficiency.
With Call 9 open until 14th June and over €57 million ERDF remaining, there are still opportunities for organisations with innovative ideas to apply. Over 100 people presented their project ideas in Brussels, seeking partners from all eligible countries to join their application.
Nearly half of the 83 projects that Interreg NWE has approved to date have Irish participation, seeing €23 million in ERDF approved to Irish organisations. The 83 approved projects are active across all three priorities, 31 in innovation, 34 in low carbon, and 18 in resource and materials efficiency.
