Cooperation
The European Union promotes cooperation between regions and countries to help their economic and social development and tackle the obstacle of borders. European Territorial Cooperation (ETC), more commonly known as Interreg, is a Cohesion Policy objective financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). ETC provides a framework for the implementation of joint projects between national, regional and local stakeholders from different Member States with the goal of finding common solutions to common problems.
