Stakeholder Workshops & Public Events
Throughout April and May, the Assembly held a series of stakeholder workshops and public consultation events across the region. These in-person sessions provided opportunities for stakeholders and members of the public to meet the team, ask questions, and share their views on the future of the Southern Region.
Events were held in our three cities (Cork, Limerick, and Waterford) and Thurles, ensuring broad regional access and participation.
Across all workshops and public events, we received valuable ideas and expertise from participants. These contributions have been very beneficial and will play an important role in shaping the next phase of the process.
What are the Issues Papers?
The Issues Papers outline key strategic spatial and economic issues for the Southern Region. They are intended to stimulate discussion, inform the review process, and support public input.
